After baby panda Tai Shan was born in the US Animal Planet followed the life of this cute bear for a full year at the Smithsonian National Zoo.
Our task was to conceptualize and develop a graphics package to wrap the show titled “Baby Panda’s First Year”.
The approach instinctively was to create a scrapbook feel to overlay on top of this magnificent creature’s first year. We basically handcrafted a landscape-shaped scrapbook layout with carefully selected footage combined with a balanced combination of 2D and 3D graphics to portray the life of Tai Shan in a 15 sec intro.
